Welcome to the Broke College Kid!

Thank you so much for looking at this blog! I will do my best to update it as often as I can. Here's how this blog works:

-Each week, I will do my best to post a new recipe that I've come up with. I probably will not have cooked this recipe before, so I ask that anyone who wants to try the recipe out and tell me how it is to do so!
-I'll also do my best to every now and then post a PAST RECIPE that I have created. Some of these I will have pictures for, some I will not. Let me know what you think of these as well!
-If I ever get to go to an amazing, famous restaurant, I'll do my best to take pictures and review it for you guys as well. (I'm a college kid though, so keep in mind this might not happen too often...)
-If you have an idea for a dish you'd like me to tackle, let me know! I love cooking all types of cuisine and any style (vegan, vegetarian, epic, etc.), so I'd be down to try to make a recipe for pretty much anything!
-Remember, all of these recipes actually come out of my head (sometimes at 2 in the morning). I do draw inspiration from top chefs like Gordon Ramsay and such, but I never copy someone else's recipe.
-Enjoy this blog! And, if you do create something from it, let me know how it is!

I hope you enjoy this blog as much as I enjoy writing it!

Stuff About Me

Broke College Cook
Davis, CA, United States
Currently a food science major at UC Davis with a strong passion for cooking, but lacking the resources to do so for now... I like to create recipe ideas and see how they turn out though! I currently plan to go into graduate school and research in food science, because of my strong passion for food. I hope to one day own a restaurant/diner, but that's a long time away from now...
